A brooch representing a quill pen. At the tip of quill is a sapphire drop mounted in platinum – an ink drop or…. a tear drop (app. 0.45 ct.). The feather is made of platinum, pink and yellow gold, engraved on 15-carat gold. England, circa 1900, in its original case.
