reversible gold ring with diamonds and rubies or sapphires

An 18-carat yellow gold reversible ring. The top part, a white gold square, is set with six princess-cut sapphires in two rows flanking a line of princess-cut diamonds in the middle. You can turn the whole ring around to show the other side of the square which is set with six-princess cut diamonds in two rows flanking a line of princess-cut rubies. All mounted in rail settings. Italy, circa 1980.
