An 18 carat yellow gold round love charm with a border of synthetic rubies and a plus sign in the middle with five 8-cut diamonds and the text “qu’hier, que demain”, signed: A.A. for A. Augis, France, circa 1970.<\/p>\n

This charm is based on a poem by the French poet Rosemonde G\u00e9rard (1871-1953) wrote this poem for her husband, Edmond Rostand (1868\u20131918 and author of Cyrano de Bergerac): Car, vois-tu, chaque jour je t\u2019aime davantage, Aujourd\u2019hui plus qu\u2019hier et bien moins que demain, which translates as \u2018For, you see, each day I love you more, Today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow\u2019.<\/p>\n
