A similar micromosaic, identified as depicting the Temple of Sibyl at Tivoli, is recorded in the Gilbert Collection of micromosaics. Though the Temple of Sibyl was a popular subject for micromosaics, the present view, showing the side of the temple with only three of its columns, is less common and precludes certain identification of the structure (J.
