gold cluster ring with diamonds

A 14 carat gold cluster ring with a high oval rose cut diamond (app. 2 carats) set in a cutaway setting and surrounded by a halo of 16 rose cut diamonds (app. 0.45 carat in total). 4 of these 16 diamonds are set a little higher in a tapered bezel as a cross, all are set in silver, with a convex back engraved with rays and with two forcated shoulders that are connected to the shank by a small horizontal gold band and with an exaggerated double S-curl at the back, late 19th century.
