A gold pansy brooch with amethyst and diamonds

Pansies symbolise remembrance, drawing their name from the French word pensée, which translates as ‘think of the giver.’ This gold pansy brooch has two carved amethyst petals, complemented by three petals set with rose-cut diamonds. At its heart is a rose-cut diamond. 1890.
