coral tiara
A tiara of coral branches on a metal bandeau in its original case, Naples circa 1860.
The tiara is formed from coral branched in their original shapes, which have been smoothly polished. Naturalism was an important theme in Europe in the second half of the nineteenth century and this tiara is a good example of this natural theme.
The tiara can be adjusted to the size of the head with a ribbon at the back.
