A Georgian brooch in the shape of a Maltese cross in silver with gold backing and open-set gemstones (peridot, sapphire, citrine, demantoid, almandine garnet, and spinel); the geometric curved lines are set with old-cut diamonds. A double usage, also a pendant with a foldable hoop and removable brooch fitting. England, circa 1840.
