A rare 18-carat gold choker or buckle with two oval micro mosaic plaques depicting the Temple of Venus and Rome and the Coliseum linked together by a snake-shaped link with a heart with a micro mosaic flower basket, with Papal State hallmarks for Rome. Rome, circa 1815, original case.
