An 18k gold round Archaeological Revival pendant, the border inscribed ‘VITA TIBI’ (‘Life is yours’) — a succinct Latin blessing and talismanic wish for vitality and long life — centering a fine Byzantine-style micro mosaic of a white dove with a halo, outlined in gold against a light blue ground. Together they read as a benediction of life, peace and divine favour — an apt message for protection, milestones or remembrance. Signed on the reverse with the double ‘CC’ monogram for Fortunato Pio Castellani, circa 1860.
