peacock brooch
An 18 carat gold and silver brooch in the form of a stylized peacock, set with 47 old-cut diamonds and 34 rose-cut diamonds (circa 15 carat), all taken from the same raw material. Signed: ‘F. Boucheron, Paris’. The brooch was made by goldsmith F. Busset in February 1894 for the House of Boucheron.
