American flag brooch

A very fine platinum American flag brooch set with diamonds (140 single cut, color F-G, VS) and natural rubies (122 square and marquise cut) as stripes and natural sapphires (20 maquise, oval and baguette cut, total gem weight 1.4 carat) with platinum stars centering a tiny diamond, one natural pearl at the top of the flag pole (3 mm), signed and numbered: Bailey, Banks & Biddle, 71892, USA, 1938.
