An 18k gold bird brooch set with cabochon-cut turquoises and brilliant-cut diamond (app. 2 cts) set in platinum, the eye and feathers set with sapphire, oval and baguette-cut (app. 2 cts), the bird is perched on a branch with a trapeze-cut diamond, signed and numbered: Cartier, Paris, 012386, (with French hallmarks and maker’s marks, circa 1957.
