diamond rivière necklace

A 14 or 15 carat yellow gold Gergian necklace with 48 old mine cut diamonds (app. 26 carat in total, Si-piq, H-J) descending in size set in oxidized silver, one part can be removed to change the length and the bails of the whole necklace have been lengthened to get a longer necklace overall, English, circa 1830.
