gold mistletoe locket

A large, oval, 18 carat yellow gold locket with gold mistletoe on the front and back ‘en relief’. The locket opens sideways and on the inside there is a mirror on one side and a glassed compartment on the other. Mistletoe symbolises constancy and stands for a kiss, France, circa 1900.
