An agate bonbonniere. The lid is made of 18 carat gold with white enamel. Numbered: 65753, and with the master’s mark: ML, flanked by a star and a bird. Attributed to Cartier. France, circa 1908.
3.13 x 4.8 x 2.43 cm.
An identical box (signed Cartier) is in the Cartier Collection. It was owned by Grand Duchess Xenia.
