diamond and ruby ring

An 18 carat white gold and platinum ring, in the center a Burma ruby (app. 1.5 carats), the shank 3 cylindrical wires ending up on both sides in two old cut diamonds (each 0.8 carats, H, VVS), embellished under and above the ruby with 8 diamonds (each 0.05 carats), England, circa 1940.
