gold ring with tourmaline and diamond

An 18 carat yellow gold ring set with a large baguette cut tourmaline in a four claw chaton (app. 14 carat) with on each side two brilliant cut diamonds bezel set in white gold kites on top of the shank. The shank is a double band narrowing towards the inside of the ring, signed and numbered: Bailey, Banks & Biddle, 94369 44383. USA, circa 1950.
