A gold Renaissance ring, high bezel closed-set with a rectangular-cut rock crystal with quatrefoil lobes decorated with black, white and green enamel, the chased shoulders with enamelled arabesques and volutes to a chased foliate hoop with traces of black enamel, European, possibly German, circa 1600, the stone has dropped a bit so maybe it was taken out.
